# PeerLink FAQ

## Getting started

### Do I need to know how to code?

No. If you can describe what you want to an AI assistant, you can build a tool and share it with PeerLink. Your assistant does the technical work; PeerLink handles putting it online safely.

### Which AI assistants work with PeerLink?

Coding assistants that can use tools, such as Claude Code and Cursor. PeerLink gives them a set of commands to create, check and publish your tool, so you can just ask in plain words.

### What kind of tools can I build?

Small web tools for your team: trackers, calculators, checklists, sign-up forms, dashboards, planners. If it’s a page people open in a browser to look things up or fill things in, it’s a great fit.

### How much does it cost?

PeerLink is in early access, so we’re working with teams directly. Get in touch and we’ll talk it through.

## Sharing & access

### Who can see my tool?

Nobody, until you invite them. A newly published tool is locked to everyone. You choose exactly which people or groups can open it.

### Can I share with people outside my company?

Yes. Invite them by email as a guest. They’ll sign in and see only the tools you’ve shared with them, and nothing else.

### Can I share with a whole team at once?

Yes. Make a group, such as “Design team”, and invite the group. Add someone to the group later and they get access to everything the group can use.

### What if I invite someone by mistake?

Remove them. They lose access straight away.

## Your tool & its data

### Can my tool remember what people type in?

Yes. Tools can save information, like entries in a tracker, and PeerLink backs it up while the tool runs.

### How do I change my tool after it’s published?

Ask your AI assistant for the change, then ask it to publish again. Everyone gets the new version at the same link.

### What happens if I delete a tool?

It goes offline and its access list is cleared. Its name stays reserved for you, so you can bring it back later.

### Is it safe to put company information in a tool?

PeerLink is built for exactly that: sign-in with your work account, invite-only access, every tool sealed off from the others, all running in your company’s own cloud. Your IT team can read the details on our Safety page.
