# How PeerLink works

From a conversation with your AI assistant to a private, shareable link.

## Step 1: Describe what you need.

Open your AI assistant and explain the tool like you’d explain it to a colleague. You don’t need any technical words. Your assistant starts from a PeerLink template, so the tool is ready for sharing from the very first line.

## Step 2: PeerLink gives it a check-up.

Before anything goes live, PeerLink looks your tool over, first on your computer and then again on its side. If something isn’t right, it tells your assistant exactly what to fix, and your assistant fixes it.

## Step 3: Publish with one sentence.

Say “publish this to PeerLink.” When it’s done, your assistant hands you a link. Your tool is now online, at its own address, behind your company sign-in.

## Step 4: Invite the right people.

A new tool is open to nobody until you invite people. Add colleagues one by one or a whole group at once. You can even invite someone from outside, like a client, and they’ll see that tool and nothing else.

## What PeerLink does behind the scenes

- **Hosting.** Your tool runs on proper servers, so it’s there whenever someone needs it.
- **An address.** Every tool gets its own web address that’s easy to bookmark and share.
- **Sign-in.** Everyone signs in with their work account before they see anything at all.
- **Separation.** Each tool runs apart from the others, so one can’t read another’s information.
- **Backups.** Anything your tool saves is restored when it starts and backed up while it runs.
- **An access log.** Every access change is recorded with who made it and when.

## You stay in charge

- **Change it.** Ask your assistant for an improvement and publish again. Same link, new version.
- **Take someone off.** Remove a person or a group and they lose access straight away.
- **Retire it.** Done with a tool? Delete it. Its access list goes with it, and the name stays yours.
