How it works

What happens when you publish a tool

You talk to your AI assistant, and PeerLink handles hosting, sign-in and access. Here is each step in order.

Step 1

Describe what you need.

Open your AI assistant and explain the tool like you’d explain it to a colleague. You don’t need any technical words. Your assistant starts from a PeerLink template, so the tool is ready for sharing from the very first line.

I need a simple tracker for customer feedback. The support team adds notes, the product team reads them.

Starting from the PeerLink template. Support gets a form for adding notes, and product gets a read-only list.

Step 2

PeerLink gives it a check-up.

Before anything goes live, PeerLink looks your tool over, first on your computer and then again on its side. If something isn’t right, it tells your assistant exactly what to fix, and your assistant fixes it.

Check-up
  • Everything it needs is in place
  • Uses PeerLink sign-in
  • Starts up and responds
Ready to publish
Step 3

Publish with one sentence.

Say “publish this to PeerLink.” When it’s done, your assistant hands you a link. Your tool is now online, at its own address, behind your company sign-in.

Your tool is live feedback-tracker.yourco.app
Step 4

Invite the right people.

A new tool is open to nobody until you invite people. Add colleagues one by one or a whole group at once. You can even invite someone from outside, like a client, and they’ll see that tool and nothing else.

Who can use this Invite
  • S Support team 12 people
  • P Product team 7 people
  • M maya@client.com Guest · this tool only

What PeerLink sets up for every tool

A developer would normally set each of these up by hand, for every app.

HostingYour tool runs on proper servers, so it’s there whenever someone needs it.
An addressEvery tool gets its own web address that’s easy to bookmark and share.
Sign-inEveryone signs in with their work account before they see anything at all.
SeparationEach tool runs apart from the others, so one can’t read another’s information.
BackupsAnything your tool saves is restored when it starts and backed up while it runs.
An access logEvery access change is recorded with who made it and when.
You stay in charge

Changing, sharing or retiring a tool later

Change it

Ask your assistant for an improvement and publish again. Same link, new version.

Take someone off

Remove a person or a group and they lose access straight away.

Retire it

Done with a tool? Delete it. Its access list goes with it, and the name stays yours.
